Broad beans are in the pea family and you can eat the whole plant. Different parts become delicacies at different points in the season. Right now we're harvesting the top shoots. It's good to harvest these, not only for their delicious flavour, but to remove the \"landing pad\" for the aphids that ants like to \"farm\" on broad bean plants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We love eating the shoots raw, as they are, in a mixed salad or as a tasty garnish. But they're also fried, like described below.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This year we've planted broad beans and early potatoes together and so far this seems to be a good combination. By mistake, we also ended up with garlic in the same bed, and this too seems to have worked well. Boil the potatoes and reserve a little liquid<\/p>\n<p>2. Fry the garlic in oil on medium heat<\/p>\n<p>3. Add the broad bean shoots and fry for a couple of minutes<\/p>\n<p>4. Add the boiled potatoes and a little reserved liquid to the broad bean shoots<\/p>\n<p>5. Men det funkar ocks\u00e5 att steka dem som vi beskriver nedan.&nbsp; I \u00e5r har vi samodlat bondb\u00f6nor med tidig potatis och \u00e4n s\u00e5 l\u00e4nge verkar det vara en bra kombination. Av misstag blev det ocks\u00e5 vitl\u00f6k i samma b\u00e4dd, och \u00e4ven detta har g\u00e5tt \u00f6ver f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntan. S\u00e5 just nu sk\u00f6rdar vi f\u00e4rsk vitl\u00f6k, bondb\u00f6nsskott och tidig potatis fr\u00e5n samma b\u00e4dd, och d\u00e5 blev det denna bondb\u00f6nspotatissallad.&nbsp; Ingredienser Metod Bondb\u00f6nsskott, hela eller hackade Potatis, i tjocka skivor Vitl\u00f6k, skivad Liten bit saltad citron (eller salt och citron), fint hackad Peppar Lite olja 1. Koka potatisen och reservera lite v\u00e4tska 2. Stek vitl\u00f6ken i olja p\u00e5 medelh\u00f6g v\u00e4rme 3. Tills\u00e4tt bondb\u00f6nsskotten och stek i ett par minuter 4. L\u00e4gg i potatis med lite reserverat vatten med bondb\u00f6nsskotten 5.
