Gott som tillbeh\u00f6r eller som del av en sallad eller topping p\u00e5 en pizza och kan anpassas med valfri smaks\u00e4ttning.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>Method<\/p>\n<p>Turnips - however many you want<\/p>\n<p>A little oil<\/p>\n<p>Pinch of salt<\/p>\n<p>A dash of apple cider vinegar (or other vinegar alternatively white wine)<\/p>\n<p>A little water<\/p>\n<p>Optional flavouring as desired (examples: lemon\/preserved lemon, chilli, honey, marmalade, chopped herbs)<\/p>\n<p>1. Wash and peel the turnips (if they're baby size, you can leave them unpeeled), cut into chunks<\/p>\n<p>2. Heat a saucepan with oil<\/p>\n<p>3. Add the turnips and add a pinch of salt, stir<\/p>\n<p>4. Add a little vinegar or wine and stir, add a dash of water, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan<\/p>\n<p>5. Put a lid on and turn the heat down to medium. stir every few minutes and add more water if needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>6. Continue until the turnips are tender, remove the lid and increase the heat again, stir continuously until the liquid is gone and the turnips get a bit of colour.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>7. Tv\u00e4tta och skala majrovorna (om baby, kan l\u00e4mna oskalade), dela sedan i lagom stora bitar 2. Hetta upp en kastrull med olja 3. L\u00e4gg i majrovor och tills\u00e4tt lite salt, r\u00f6r om 4. Tills\u00e4tt lite vin\u00e4ger och r\u00f6r om, h\u00e4ll sedan en liten m\u00e4ngd vatten i (tillr\u00e4ckligt s\u00e5 att det finns lite p\u00e5 botten av kastrullen s\u00e5 att majrovorna inte fastnar) 5. S\u00e4tt lock p\u00e5 och vrid ner v\u00e4rmen till medium. R\u00f6r om efter ca 5 min och h\u00e4ll i mer vatten vid behov.\u00a0 6. Forts\u00e4tt tills majrovorna \u00e4r tillagade (k\u00e4nn med en vass kniv), ta d\u00e5 av locket och h\u00f6j v\u00e4rmen igen, r\u00f6r om kontinuerligt tills v\u00e4tskan \u00e4r n\u00e4stan helt borta och majrovorna b\u00f6rjar f\u00e5 lite f\u00e4rg.\u00a0 7. Tills\u00e4tt eventuell smaks\u00e4ttning 8.
